The road trip

I have been packing all afternoon. Myself and two other English teachers will be attending the Texas Council of Teachers of English Language Arts conference in Corpus Christi. We leave tomorrow and come back Sunday.

How did this happen? I am as surprised as the next person. My department chair let me and another English teacher know that we had been selected by our principal to go. I was so excited and thrilled and well, just excited to learn from this conference.

Anyway, not much else to say. I have been keeping up with my healthy eating. Today I weight myself and lost 10 lbs! Super excited!
