So much fun

I have been so consumed with work, living on my own and everything else going on in my life, that I had forgotten how much fun it is to be around those I love. Time with my brother, Jan, Caleb and Aly was amazing. I can sit and watch Caleb and Aly both play for ever. I love those two to death. Such innocence, not a care of worry. They laugh, hug and kiss like there's no tomorrow.

Then today, time with my parents and my sister has been awesome as well. We woke up early and went to our usual morning breakfast hang out. Every time we are here, we eat at Esperanza's. It is the best Mexican breakfast anywhere.

They start you up with Mexican sweet biscuits and jelly. And I decided to have huevos a la Mexicana with barbacoa. So delicious.

After breakfast, we came back to the apartment, hung out, took an afternoon nap and headed back to some stores to window shop. My knee has been hurting so bad, it rained pretty bad overnight too.  When the weather changes, my knee hurts.

We also had a late lunch and I, of course kept up with Futbol.

Two games at the same time! It was crazy!! Then we headed to Starbucks.

Overall, an amazing time with family. I love how we talk about stupid, silly things. We talk over each other, and it's funny. My dad started talking about the history of Fort Worth and about the cattle industry and at the same time, my mom will ask my sister a question about work and I will start talking about the game, but even though we are laughing and joking and talking over each other, we are still answering each other and laughing. I can't explain how crazy we are when we are together, but I know whenever I am around them, they regenerate me. All the stress of work, life, of anything...goes away and I am happy.

Here is the obligatory Starbucks selfie.

Tomorrow, we head south.
